•The luxury accommodation options are top-notch and consist of newly refurbished studios and 1 & 2 bedroom units each with individual air-conditioning and unlimited Wi-Fi We were comfortable in our unit. We prepared our meals, found ourselves close to attractions and enjoyed the in-room hot tub at the end of the day. Receptionist was friendly and informative. They encouraged us to make further reservations around the country, because of school holidays that we didn’t know of. Good call. Thank you.

Featuring free Wi-Fi, an outdoor thermally heated swimming pool, and rooms with private spa pools, Sport of Kings Motel is just 10 minutes' walk from Te Puia Thermal Reserve. Guests enjoy 1 free parking space per room, and BBQ facilities set amongst landscaped gardens. The room is like a suite. A living room area, a galley kitchen that was well appointed and a bedroom. We also had a further room with a hot tub. It was wonderful.. There was a thermal heated pool that we enjoyed twice. We used the laundry facilities. So handy. The best thing about this motel is the friendly staff. They were so open, friendly and accommodating. Genuinely nice people. We highly recommend this motel.

Guests enjoy natural bush surroundings, luggage storage and an on-site children’s playground. We stayed at the tent and were surprised it felt like an African safari. Good beds and well stocked. Loved it!!

Free parking and free bike storage and wash-down area is provided on-site. Morgen our host was very welcoming. He lives on the property with his family. Everything was well taken care of so we really did not need to call Morgen for much but when we had a question or request he was very helpful and a pleasure to interact with We booked two different kinds of rooms. One was more spacious with a stove top/kitchen area the other just had a kitchenette but both had hot tubs and we really enjoyed them after a day full of adventure activities Location was quite convenient
