The rooms (ours was sea view, king) are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and very popular with children, and there is a small beach to access the sea. There are several restaurants to choose from with very good food options. The breakfast buffet (included) was tasty, varied and plentiful. The view from the open-air breakfast area was truly tropical.

Rooms were very spacious and we were celebrating our honeymoon and staff made lovely touches to the room to welcome us! Amazing gym with lots of equipment and tennis and pickle ball courts. Spa was great too.

Also there was a kitchen if you want to cook something. We didn’t cook, there’s a restaurant close by within walking distance serving traditional Sabahan cuisine which was nice.

Kokol Haven Resort terletak di Kota Kinabalu, 15 km dari Pasar Filipina Sabah dan 11 km dari Masjid Kota Likas. I liked the amazing view of the sunset, mountains, garden, and the early check-in. All the staff were friendly; what I liked most was that the manager was humble enough to talk to guests—asking how they could improve, offering what I needed, and even going beyond that by taking a picture of me, as I am a solo traveler. 😀 Moreover, I took a jungle trek, and it was a good experience—a replacement for the gym, a chance to enjoy nature and hike. I liked the food (you can only rely on their restaurant because I think there are none nearby). The Wi-Fi is a bit intermittent but able to manage work calls. The room is spacious. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, you can come here for a retreat experience. It would not be called Haven for no reason!🥰
