The place was incredibly peaceful – no noise, no cars, just calm all around. We felt truly rested thanks to the serene environment. The staff were super friendly, everything was very clean, and the breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommended!

We liked the hotel in general. The room was simple, but clean and with A/C. WiFi was working fine as well Swimming pool after the day of hiking and sightseeing is exactly what was helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good as well. The personal was very helpful and supportive.

Super nice place with extremely friendly hosts and Team. Really loved our stay there. During our stay We planned to Go to sigiriya and polonnaruwa. Chandi our host organised a driver for us (Santer). We only wanted to visit the two Sites but got a daytrip from Santer which was just perfect. Besides the Sites we drove through the national Park, Visited perfect viewspots and hidden Gems, and also were so lucky to See Elephants during our ride, Not once, but three times. Including Little ones and three big ones swimming. This was our First Trip in Sri Lanka After arrival and Santer made us immediately Fall in love with this Country. Thank you so much. Chandi and his team then made our first stop perfect: delicious traditional breakfast, clean rooms and pool, as well as being there for us whenever we needed help or just a quick Chat as friends. As this wouldnt be enough he insisted on driving us to the Bus station. Chandi, Santer and team, you made a Perfect First impression from Sri Lanka. Thank you so much for that. It was the best accommodation choice of our long trip through Sri Lanka. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-organized. There was a good shower with warm water and A/C, although to our surprise the ceiling fan at night was enough, it did a good job. The property is run by a lovely family who are very attentive to guests’ needs and requests. The owner is also a professional guide, so you can easily book a tour upon arrival. Breakfast very tasty, freshly cooked, and we really appreciated that we could be flexible with our breakfast time. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants within a short walking distance and a supermarket nearby. It’s also an perfect base for visiting both mountains. Our only small regret was staying just one night in Sigiriya :)

Thal Sewana offers pet-friendly accommodation in Sigiriya. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Hospitality of the owner. I immediately felt like being at home. Owner and her family were very friendly and welcoming. They gave me good advice and also organised things for me. It’s walking distance to both Lion’s rock and Pudurangala Rock. From the property, you can see both of them which I found amazing. Enjoyed the cold beer after hiking too!

Honestly can't recommend Sigiriya Lake Paradise enough! Stayed here for 5 nights and it felt like home. The location is stunning literally on a lake with a view of Lion's Rock. Chami and the family are super friendly and helpful, they even came with me on some day trips and made sure I was sorted with everything. And the food Absolutely delicious.If you're heading to Sigiriya, definitely book in here. You won't regret it.
