The lady who runs it speaks good English and is very kind, friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The room was beautiful and I slept comfortably on my futon after a dip in the private bath. I had breakfast in the morning and it was one of the best Japanese breakfasts I’d had and so beautifully presented. The hotel is a 15 min walk from the station and therefore, within a 15 min walk there are quite a few places to eat. The owner can help you with all the recommendations of Aizu Wakamatsu too.

Breakfast was outstanding and the one thing I like the most was I was able to keep the temperature of the room cool. So hard to find in some hotels in Japan in winter! Most only allow you to heat the room. It was nice too keep the room colder to sleep. Also, everyone was professional and sweet. Want to come back soon. 🙌
