The lobby is gorgeous and peaceful. Were really liked the layout of the hotel with separate wings for the rooms, lobby, and onsen. The onsen was relaxing and very clean. Comfortable rooms and a great attention to detail.

Location works for us, minutes of walk to the subway station and bus station depending on your go. Facilities are great, from lobby, onsen, to our room. Really enjoy our stay. Staffs are super helpful, fluent in multi-lingual and super helpful to foreign travellers like us throughout arranging our luggage delivery to the next hotel. I would come back for Mitsui!

Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was sick from food poisoning and could not enjoy it to the max, but the staff was extremely good to me. I cannot thank them enough. The futon beds were extremely comfortable, all the structure really took me back to almost 200 years ago. I really wanted to get the traditional breakfast, but I was too sick so I got the western one that was delicious. Cant wait to be back.

Has all the amenities you need. We appreciated the washing machine in the shared area that we could use free of charge. Seven eleven and metro around the corner and very close to Kyoto train station. Recommend!
