Has everything you could possibly ask for. Rooms are very comfortable, there are plenty of toilets, bathroom facilities, so no waiting time. The showers come with small onsen, every one of which is uniquely pretty. There are large common areas, which are very social. We even got invited to join the owners steam pot party one evening.

All rooms feature a Plasmacluster ion air purifier/humidifier. This is a wonderful little gem, very relaxing atmosphere, with the most polite and friendly staff (who can speak English perfectly). We loved the japanese style room and the high quality amenities and the overall the cleanliness of the hotel, room and bathroom. Plus they even gave me a birthday gift, I thought this was so very nice of them.

The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. The Todai-ji Temple and Deer Park are a 10-minute stroll away, while Nara Station on the Kintetsu Line is a 7-minute walk. JR Nara Station is 14-minutes away on foot. So far, this has been the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is amazing — beautifully located with stunning views, and full of charm. There are plenty of free activities to enjoy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay in the traditional Japanese room; it was such a special experience and we honestly regret not booking more nights. The onsen was a wonderful bonus, and having a konbini attached to the hotel was super convenient. Nara itself is a magical place, and staying here made it even better. Highly recommended!
