Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). We love the Miyajima guest house, the staff was super friendly, the location was great, the common areas were beautiful! We also really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Overall the only negative was that we only stayed one night, would love to come back and stay at least two nights in the future. ❤️

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. The staff was exceptional, they literally made it feel like we were coming home every time we walked through the doors! The dinner and breakfast service were wonderful, delicious, and unique. The Onsen was beautiful and relaxing.

A stunning sunrise from the hillside (guest house) and mountain top (temple). Restored old house, warmth, love for detail, coupled with functionality. Not to be missed !

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. All the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty . I recommend it all.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Fantastic location right next to the Rooney to get up the top of Mt Misen. Very authentic and truely lovely. We stayed for one night and throughly enjoyed the island

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Oh, Iroha…. Where do I begin? We were greeted by the friendliest and kindest front desk staff, both of the ladies were extremely welcoming and helpful. They asked about our dinner plans and book us a table at a wonderful place. As this was the first place in Japan with Onsen that we stayed at we were explained how to prepare and what are the rules. We went there in the late evening, it was empty and from the outside bath you could enjoy the amazing views of Itsikushima Shrine, just magical! Also we were given a free upgrade to queen suite which we did not expect at all and it was incredible. I could not recommend enough this place and staying at Miyajima Island over night in general. You can’t fully experience the unique charm and beauty of this place by coming just for few hours. Come for a night or two and stay at Iroha, I can guarantee it will be a highlight of your Japan trip! Thank you for having us!

Diperbaharui pada tahun 2013, Sakuraya menyediakan bilik-bilik yang berpatutan dengan gaya Jepun dan menawarkan pemandangan gunung atau laut. WiFi percuma boleh didapati di kawasan awam. Location was excellent. The View from my room was marvelous. The room was specious for a solo traveler. Really recommend this hotel.

Onomichi Guest House Anago-no-Nedoko provides beds in shared dorm rooms, a 5-minute walk from Senkou-ji Ropeway Station. It offers free Wi-Fi and a free-use internet PC. Anago-no-Nedoko is a very cozy and atmospheric guesthouse. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed exploring every corner of this marvellous house. The people working there were super kind and helpful. The breakfast was super tasty and we got a dry spot to store our bicycles. Big recommendation for everyone visiting Onomichi!
