Few steps from the beach on the island of Stromboli, Hotel Villaggio is 400 metres from the town centre. Everything was perfect! Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful terrace just above the little black sand beach. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach but also the volcano eruptions. Hotel has a private beach (free of charge) and a brand new swimming pool but you have to pay to use it. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were great and helpful.

Just 150 metres from the port, the Ossidiana is located right next to a volcanic-sand beach in the fishermen’s neighbourhood of Scari. Breakfast was rich. The staff was very helpful. And the view was incredible.

For those with mobility issues, it is a 10 minute walk uphill, but there are golf-like taxis which can convey you to the place. There is a restaurant adjacent to the place and another across from the church. I would definitely recommend Aquilone.

Located 200 metres from the Fico Grande volcanic-sand beach, Pedra Residence is an Aeolian-style property with a free gym. Set in a peaceful garden, it offers a furnished sun terrace with sea-views. My room was so cute and comfortable! Bed was comfy and nice cold aircon. A beautiful terrace as well as a rooftop terrace with 360 views of both the volcano and the sea. Perfect place to watch the sunrise. The staff were so friendly and helpful with recommendations of places to go and luggage storage.
