One of the best mattresses we had during our stay in Iceland. The rooms were both very clean and smelled fresh. The shared bathroom was also extremely clean. Since one of the rooms we booked had a private bathroom, the whole family showered there (great water pressure; very hot water too!), however, the shared bathroom seemed to be very clean too. There was a hot tub outside for guests to enjoy, and the property is next to a beach where you can spot birds.

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Cozy place, well heated, very nice view, very quiet, nicely furnished, comfy beds, only a few km from the next village, where we got nice breakfast at the bakery and had delicious dinners at both restaurants.

Located on a family owned sheep farm, Saudafell Guesthouse offers accommodation in Sauðafell. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. We had a truly exceptional time at Saudafell Guesthouse! We were the only guests at the house so we don't know how it is when it is full of guests. But our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful - having breakfast with them every morning was no only a pleasure, we learned a lot about life on their farm and in Iceland in general. We highly recommend staying here!

Stóra-Vatnshorn is located 500 metres from the historic Eiríksstadir site and 17 km from Búdardalur village. it feels like a remote location, but there are many apartments on the site, islandic original viking house a few hundered meters away, fishing buddies on the lake nearby... Easy access to west and middle west part of iceland

Offering natural hot springs, free Wi-Fi and an in-house restaurant, this farmhouse hotel is in Iceland’s wild Westfjords. Súdavík village is within a 1-hour drive. The accomodations and establishment are very nice. The whole feeling of this place is very unique. It's not just a place where the views are amazing, but also a farm where you can see horses and also 2 very nice dogs. You have a hot sprint outside and inside. We've been in Iceland 3 times and here we ate the best food from all the places. This guesthouse is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. I will not be surprised if in the future people will visit the west fjords only to stay here. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you so much for having us. Wished we stayed longer!

The area is so quiet and peaceful, and the view is amazing. The cottage is very spacious and has a great terrace. We arrived early to catch the creamery open as well (open 13-17), and the ice cream was worth it. Communication was easy with the host, and everything was smooth with the check-in/check-out.

Dating back to 1828, this family-run farm in West Iceland offers bright rooms with country-style décor. Facilities include a guest kitchen, TV lounge and terrace with outdoor hot tub. This wonderful place will always remain to me the first place where we witnessed the northern lights. But apart from that, the guest home is homely and inviting, the rooms are cozy with a private sink for brushing teeth, and our host and hostess were very welcoming people. We can only recommend!
