Lighthouse Inn is a fantastic spot in Gardur only 15mins drive from the airport. We decided not to hire a car and so a taxi cost us about 6000krone from the airport and the next day we bussed into Reykjavik using the public buses. We dined at the hotel restaurant for dinner and were so well looked after by Roberto. The next morning we were treated to a fantastic breakfast! We were hoping to spot the northern lights while out of the city but weren’t lucky this stay but would definitely return again as the Lighthouse Inn feels like such a treat! The lady on reception when we arrived was an absolute delight as well! You won’t be disappointed by a stay here. The facilities are top notch and a walk around the lighthouses is a must, it’s a peaceful and gorgeous place to be.

Just 25 km from the iconic Blue Lagoon, these cabins come with free high speed Wi-Fi, a furnished terrace and a hot tub. Little touch on having some basic essentials like coffee, oil and sugar all ready in the kitchen is a rare sight. Clean and nice stay. Hot tub easy to use. Definitely would come back and recommend.

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. don’t hesitate to book this place! the hosts were incredible and very friendly, the acclamation was so clean and had interesting designs inside. the hosts were very communicative and gave great recommendations for our trip. this is the perfect spot to stay to explore the area and go to the blue lagoon. I recommend spending a night or two here before you leave Iceland (very close to the airport). the hot spring rock pool isn’t he backyard was amazing as well! highly recommend this wonderful place :)

Located in Sandgerði village, these basic wooden cottages are a 10-minute drive away from Keflavik Airport. Free WiFi is available. Short stay to catch early flight. Stay was nothing special but served it’s purpose

Raven’s Bed & Breakfast is a converted traditional cow house which has been renovated into a unique guest house. The original wooden beams and certain decorative items remain from its past. The design of the house is amazing, it’s classic design with modern furnitures mixed. Has got everything we meeded. Kitchen that we could use however we want. Hot bath tub to chill. Dish washer. Big fridge with full of foods that we can grab anytime. Two big clean bathrooms. The maid was so friendly and nice. The view is amazing as well. I can’t really say anything bad about this hotel. Absouletly recommended for everybody.

This boutique hotel is next to central Keflavik’s picturesque marina, 3.5 km from Keflavik Airport. Everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel was spotlessly clean, with a stunning view of the bay that made our stay extra special. The service was outstanding - everyone was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious – beautifully served by the staff, with fresh fruit, creamy skyr yogurt with muesli, and a lovely selection of fish and cheese. It was the perfect place to relax after a long flight and start our Icelandic adventure. Highly recommended!

We are located in a walk-able downtown of Keflavík and only a mere 5-minute drive from KEF Keflavik International Airport. WiFI is available through out public space and guest rooms. The room is big for my family.
