The room was big, the location was beautiful! The breakfast was simple and delicious, the dining room is just gorgeous and it is available with the kitchen every evening (well equipped). Great remote location, saw northern lights while our stay here. The restaurant was good, food was delicious. Fun for children as there cows, and friendly dog on the farm.

Myri Lodge was a perfect location. Far enough from town to be quiet and dark, but convenient to everything we wanted. Toby and Anna were the perfect hosts. Toby made sure we knew the Aurora was visible. I would definitely stay again.

This is a perfectly located guesthouse as we could easily walk to most of the attractions, restaurants and shops in the town. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and large beds, large bathroom/shower, fridge with coffee and tea and good black-out curtains. The guesthouse is in a residential neighborhood and was very quiet at night. The host was great - he lives next door and popped over as soon as he saw us arrive. In addition to our rooms, he also took us on a tour of the downstairs area which is amazing! There is a full kitchen, games room and living room for all guests to use. Plus, outside was a hot tub which we did enjoy. Our only regret is that we had just one night there - next time we'll be sure to book at least a couple of days.

From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. This stat was everything we could’ve hoped for—warm, inviting, and full of thoughtful touches that made it truly special. The host were incredibly welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed while giving us a space to relax and unwind. The home itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and filled with little details that showed how much care went into creating a comfortable atmosphere . The White House Inn was just perfect for our group trip and I will definitely return. If you’re looking for a place it feels like home away from home this is it.

Country Dream - Langholt 2 is located in Laugardælir, 7 km from Selfoss. It offers free WiFi, as well as a garden and terrace. Guests can also enjoy an on-site hot tub and sauna. Friendly welcoming hosts. Studio was spacious and well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Clean and pleasant stay that exceeded our expectations.

Featuring a bar and shared lounge, Hótel Laugarvatn is 15 minutes’ drive from Thingvellir National Park. WiFi and parking are free. Right next to the main road. Close to the Geyser park. The property was clean, very easy to check in and out. Very safe.
