The staff were truly excellent and they welcome you to Pondicherry with a full run through of what you can do, and will help you plan a fantastic itinerary complete with food and drink stops. The rooms themselves were also great - a good size with cute paintings on the walls, comfortable beds and everything was clean (good shower pressure also). The common spaces were also nice and they even have a kitchen. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and would love to come back in the future :)

Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach. Location, service, ambiance and food were all top notch. Especially the service from staff across restaurant, housekeeping and front desk.

We had a wonderful stay al Le Pondy. The rooms were delightful with a baranda outside with an overhead fan. The staff was attentive to our needs and wants. The message at the Ayurveda center was excellent. Walking on the beach to see the fishermen and especially the sunrise was memorable. We highly recommend Le Pondy.
