Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. This property is the most beautiful, majestic space with breathtaking architecture. It is nestled into a hill with views of The Burren and the sound of flowing water is around every corner. There are several inviting common areas complete with fireplaces and the feeling of contemplation and peace. We topped off our eve with a whiskey at the “help yourself” bar. The next morning we visited the Ailwee Caves (a must see) and the 16th century tower house called Newtown Castle which is part of Burren College of Art - there was true student talent. Both places are a short walk or drive from The Waters Country House. This is a one of a kind B & B NOT to be missed and Wolfgang and Maria are the most gracious proprietors!

They provided great information before my arrival and during my stay about options of travelling and where to go. The place and the room are super clean, comfortable and well decorated. All basic facilities are provided. Breakfast was amazing with a variety of homemade food. Highly recommended. I definitely recommend the place.

St. Catherines is situated in 3 km from the traditional music village of Doolin, and 2 km from Doolin Cave. Free private parking and WiFi are available on site. Every room includes a private bathroom.... Maria was so kind and welcoming and the house was spotless. Fantastic breakfast which kept us going until tea time, we had a really lovely break. This is a very convenient location - a short drive out of town and has decent parking. The decor is of a very high standard and we found it very quiet at night - great. The breakfast is presented very differently to your average hotel / B&B. An excellent range of bespoke items.

We only spent one night in the double bed tent. It was fantastic. The tent was spacious and spotlessly clean.The staff were very friendly & helpful. Showers, toilets, and kitchens were really clean and nice. The campsite is in a great location, a short walking distance to the pubs/restaurants. A really nice stay.

I am very pleased. Also, as I didn't have car to move to Doolin, the owners arranged me a taxi. I will definitely repeat the experience!
