The grounds were pristine and the cabin was beautifully furnished and decorated with nice quality items. This was no cookie cutter rental property. The kitchen was stocked with fresh eggs, milk, butter and jams, assorted teas and coffee. The bed was exceptionally comfortable !

Pauline was a wonderful host who gave us ideas on what to see in the area. We had to leave earlier than normal breakfast time and she still provided a delicious breakfast. We could see she had won many awards for excellence and we can see why as nothing was too much trouble. Bathroom was very clean.

A 2-minute drive from Slane Castle, it has a restaurant and garden, and provides free Wi-Fi and parking. My favorite place to stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Incredible value, super triple room (#1) offering an "alcove" for 3rd bed...really a small attached 2nd space. Fantastic breakfast and attractive dining room. Very helpful staff when booking and very friendly staff at front desk and in restaurant. Lovely decor all around.

Headfort Arms offers spacious, beautifully furnished rooms, all with contemporary en suite facilities. Features include a plasma-screen TV and free Wi-Fi throughout. A lovely hotel with bars, restaurants and even a pub. Very good food and nice breakfast. The rooms where spacious and clean, shower nice. There are many different spaces to sit and have a nice drink. The free parking was big and easy to find. The pricing was good, but we did not try the spa...

Please note that there is an additional cost to use the Thermal Suite facilities and to avoid disappointment, we advise that use of the Thermal Suite and treatments are booked well in advance of your stay. We only stayed 1 night due to visiting friends in the village, the room was comfortable, light and clean. Check in staff were friendly and helpful, beds were very comfortable and we slept well. We didn’t visit the spa due to time limitations and the fact we didn’t really want to pay extra ( would have been nice if it was included) ! Breakfast was really good, plentiful and fresh- staff also brilliant in there too - would definitely stay again
