Charming set of small houses with a nice courtyard in the middle for meeting people. It was also possible make your own coffee, etc. It also had a nice pool in the sun which I enjoyed using (but wasn't much used by other guests). Everything in the house worked well, from the air-conditioning to the open shower. Breakfast (available for 35K) was quite nice. Staff arranged to have us taken to the train station, 700 meters away, by car for free, which we appreciated given our suitcases.

Inspired by the styles of the colonial era, Hotel Tugu Malang is located in East Java. We really enjoyed staying at Tugu Malang. The property itself is stunning and the rooms are quiet and beautiful as well. Food in both restaurants is exceptional. The quality of the spa treatments is really good and last but not least: reception staff is going out of their way to accomodate all of their guests wishes. We had a few special requirements due to changes in our travel plan and John and Anita were ever so helpful and made everthing happen without batting an eye. I would book this hotel again for sure and can not recommend it enough.

Amaris Hotel Margorejo Surabaya menawarkan penginapan yang bersih dan moden di Surabaya. The breakfast was amazing with many choices of Indonesian food. The hotel clearly supports Indonesian culinary for the guests. Amenities were good and we can get water from a dispenser outside the room. It was such a nice service that the guests don't need to ask for water from the hotel as the tap water in Indonesia was undrinkable.
