Boasting a terrace and a bar, Hotel Katamaran is located in Rust. The property is situated 3.4 km from Roman stone pit St. Margarethen. Free WiFi is at guests' disposal. The hotel is a short walk from town and close to the lake. The hotel itself is very clean and seems newly renovated. We visited during the first weekend of the busy season but there was still ample parking for our rental car. The entire staff was so friendly, happy and cheerful. We were sad to leave but will definitely be back.

In a historic building dating from 1537 featuring a rose garden and a quiet courtyard, the family-run TiMiMoo Boutique Hotel Bürgerhaus is right on the main square in the centre of Rust. Excellent location, family ambient, very clean rooms. The hotel has few own parking spots but the parking around the hotel on the streets is posible free of charge. The staff was very friendly and hepful from the arrival to the check-out. We left the hotel feeling like we were visiting family. ❤️ The breakfast selection was very good, tasty and served to the table in the cosy ambient of the rose garden. The food choice was very diversified, with fresh vegetables and fruits and in the right amount.

Lovely, friendly host greeted us and recommended us an excellent restaurant where we had a delicious dinner. The room was small but comfortable. Clean bathroom, comfy beds, a fridge which was already turned on by the time we got there. The room is equipped with an air conditioner.

Peaceful, quiet place, it feels like visiting a friend, not like a pension and definitely not hotel. The bathroom looked pretty new and high quality. The mattress and the pillows were very comfortable. The bread selection at breakfast is one of the best I've had for a very long time. I liked the small details, like the organic greens at breakfast.

As it's wine makers famiily, it was possible to degustate the local wines and buy them for pick up. Amazing wiew to the sea.
