I asjes for wine recommendations which were great. We did not finish the bottel but no problem it was kept for us for the next day! Very cosy rooms, luxurious finishing. Breakfast was amazing, Mike even took his time to book us a restaurant for dinner, and gave us recommendations for restaurants and the area. The rooms are generous and inviting for short and long stays. It's not your run of the mill hotel, the rooms and common area really tell a story of someone putting actual care and their heart into it. It's a pity we had so many things to see that we honestly didn't get to spend enough time listening to Mike's stories, reading out on the balcony, or just relaxing on one of the (by accident) two huge beds in our room. We could not recommend a stay at Appin Bay View enough, and will definitely come back. Thanks for everything Mike, and see you around.

All guest rooms in No. 1 Charlotte Street are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a hair dryer. The location is so central to Port Ellen and the ferry terminal. The staff were friendly and polite, and all my emails prior to and during our stay were answered promptly. Our room was upgraded when they saw we were staying for several nights, which was unexpected but very much appreciated. The cafe right next door was very handy for drinks and snacks - the cakes were delicious! Other food offerings in town were within a 5-min walk. Above all, the bay views and gorgeous hills all around gave us beautiful memories of our stay!

Situated 200 metres from Corran Halls in the picturesque town of Oban, Rose Villa features free WiFi access. The property is just a few minutes from many restaurants and bars, and is a 10-minute walk from the ferry, train and bus terminals. The owners are very kind and helpful. The location is perfectly close to the center at a walking distance. The rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and with a book full practical information.
