Le Château d'Asnières en Bessin is a bed and breakfast in Asnières-en-Bessin. Free private parking is available on site. Each room includes a private bathroom. Carl and Sabine were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed staying at their chateau very much. Being out in the French countryside so close to the Utah and Omaha D-Day beaches was perfect for us. Carl gave us many tips on the best places to visit, and we enjoyed his stories about the history of the chateau and the area. The traditional continental breakfast was appreciated also. The views from our room were beautiful!

This is a charming property in the little village of Reviers. We stayed here for three nights while visiting all of the D-Day museums, beaches, and cemeteries. We also went to Bayeux to view the tapestry. All of these sites were within a comfortable driving distance from La Malposte. The owners, who live on site, were delightful and helpful. The building we stayed in was 400 years old, which we loved. There are gardens with a rushing stream crossing the property. We wished we would have had time to just hang out in the gardens, which had various tables, chairs, and benches scattered around. It would have been so relaxing to sit and enjoy the plants, flowers, and stream. All three mornings, Isabel prepared an amazing and delicious breakfast served in a charming room in our building. It was a lovely start to our days of sightseeing. Isabel and her husband, Michel, were gracious hosts. There was a little bit of a language barrier, but by using Google Translate, we were able to communicate effectively. I would definitely stay at La Malposte again if I ever were to return to Normandy.

Only 2 km from the D-Day landing beaches, Le Clos des Pommiers offers B&B accommodation in a modern house. You can relax on the furnished terrace, by the garden, or in the shared living room. Beautiful place,comfy bed, and bfast was excellent.

Located in Colleville-sur-mer just 2 km from Omaha Beach, Chambres d'Hôtes Le Clos Tassin is a B&B set in a 19th-century Norman house with a 1500m2 garden. There is an on-site shop with local... Rooms were clean and spacious. The common kitchen area offered refrigerator and oven as well as teas and hot water kettle. Parking was easy and outside terrace was great if we had been there during the day. Breakfast was wonderful and prepared to order eggs in a b&B setting.

We stayed at La Fresnée for just one night, but it was truly a memorable experience. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Bayeux and the surrounding area. Tucked away in the countryside on a farm, the B&B offers a wonderfully calm and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat after a day of sightseeing. Our room was absolutely charming—beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a tasteful interior that combined comfort with a touch of rustic elegance. It felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The host was also exceptionally attentive and friendly, which made us feel right at home. Breakfast the next morning was another highlight of our stay. Everything was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. We had fresh baguette, croissants, yoghurts, pancakes, Normandy cheeses, homemade jams - everything to start the day right. Overall, La Fresnée is a delightful place to stay. It’s a gem I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone exploring the Bayeux region.
