A wonderful stay in a wonderful house with very nice hosts. And they made the best pick nick for our hike the next day. Ideal place to stay for GR5 hikers

The Domaine de Basil is a former sheep barn located 10 km from the Lac Blanc ski resort. It offers rooms with a living area and a private bathroom. Some also have a private terrace. The rooms were very spacious and clean and had great view. We stayed here before and we just loved the place as well as the restaurant, which is small, cozy and has really good food. The area is also beautiful with mountains and quaint little villages, castles and not far from Colmar.

Located on the heights of the Massif des Vosges, this hotel is set on the banks of Lake Gérardmer. It is a 5-minute ride on the shuttle bus to the ski slopes and a 5-minute drive to the city centre. Great location. Very nice decor and the rooms were first class. The girl behind the reception was learning English and was ver helpful.

Les Adrets provides a sauna and chalet accommodation 350 metres from the centre of Gérardmer and 850 metres from the ski slopes. The chalets have a terrace or balcony and overlook Lake Gérardmer. I have now stayed in Les Adrets twice and I was delighted with the chalet each time. The view from the chalet is beautiful. It is a short drive to both Gerardmer town centre and the ski slopes.
