The common room we had access to with a small kitchen, coffee, snacks was also really convenient. The breakfast was great and the owners were really welcoming!

This peaceful hotel is in the Lolland town of Bandholm, by the sea. It offers a sea-view garden, WiFi and on-site parking are free. Charming stylish boutique hotel, perfectly located in a small, historic village by the sea. The completely uncrowded beach is 100m from the hotel. The facilities were excellent, staff first class and general environment unbelievably calm and relaxing. Regrettably we were passing through so only spent one night. Next time hopefully a bit longer. If like us you are driving from elsewhere in Europe to Sweden via the Puttgarden ferry, this is a perfect place to over-night.

In particular, there were gluten-free food and dairy-free milk options. The gluten-free food was in a separate area and a dedicated toaster for gluten-free products was provided. There was also plenty of non-dairy milk provided. I also appreciated that the bread was located in a separate area from the meat and cheese platters reducing cross-contamination. The staff was very knowledgeable about food allergies and were able to advise on modifications to the menu. I was able to eat safely during my entire stay at the hotel. The hotel also provided free coffee/tea as well as a water bar with sparkling, still, and flavored water available at all times.

Piccobello Bed & Breakfast Valløby Køge in Valløby provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We stopped here on a bicycle journey. We loved this visit, and especially our great conversation with Jayne, the owner. We stayed in a comfortable bedroom with attached toilet and shower, and had a secure place to store our bicycles out of the weather.

The grotto apartment was nicely furnished and comfortable and it was nice to be able to walk the grounds and interact with the various animals. Location is practical with supermarkets, the local town and restaurants < 8 mins drive. Helle (the owner) also took the time to show and discuss the various animal breeds and their unique features etc.

Guest rooms at Egn Boutique Hotel have either private or shared bathroom facilities. Bed linen and towels are included. Amazing breakfast, the little pods were comfy but I can imagine they can feel very small if the weather is not good. Very good location close to the beach, bathroom is a short walk into the main building, there are two toilets and one shower to share with the other pod.
