This hotel offers free parking and a summer terrace. It situated in the pedestrian area, a 10-minute walk from Celle’s old town and a 5-minute walk from the Französischer Garten park. The breakfast room was wonderful. The food offerings were excellent by American standards, but just a little less than we experienced at other German properties on our trip. Freshness was the only detractor.

This hotel and café was set up in 2015 on a historical site in the heart of Bispingen . Schmucke Witwe combines a modern and traditional style. Quaint, lovely, friendly and unique. Great breakfast in a wonderful setting. Hosts were very kind in helping us get in when we were late to arrive.

This boutique hotel in the heart of Lüneburg is just 50 metres from the River Ilmenau and 300 metres from the market square. I loved the central location, the clean and cosy rooms, the lounge area with the fresh water station, and super friendly staff. The city itself is well worth a visit and I would absolutely stay here again if I return. The art on the walls and cute, small details really were the cherry on top.

Surrounded by trees and scenic gardens, this historic former mansion is quietly located in the village of Bardenhagen. This is an old stud farm which has been partially demolished, added on to and remodelled as a small luxury hotel to the highest standard. Architecturally inside and out is exceptional. The bedroom we had was on the ground floor in the annex with a terrace and opened up to an expanse of greenery and fields.

This unique, 4-star hotel lies right at the edge of the protected Lunenburg Heath, 4 kilometres from the nearest train station and 5 kilometres north of picturesque Schneverdingen. The location is incredibly beautiful and the rooms are modern, shower amazing, view from the rooms is spectacular. Sunrise and morning in particular. Seldom have I had a better breakfast - the ingredients were so good. Dinner was also very good. We did not stay for very long, but there are so many beautiful hikes and other fun outdoor activities to do in the area.
