We came because of the Eurovision, and had great time. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help – from check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly and pleasantly. The service was outstanding, and the whole team made it clear they truly care about their guests. The rooms were modern, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful design details that made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic; varied, fresh, and delicious, with something for everyone. The breakfast area has a stylish yet cozy atmosphere that made mornings feel special and had modern appliances for guests to use. The location is great, with excellent access to public transportation, making it easy to reach any part of the city. It is easy to go to the airport, St.Jakobshalle and city centre. A great bonus is the option for online check-out, which takes less than two minutes – super convenient and efficient and you can do it 0-24. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stylish, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Basel, with top-notch service and a great location.

Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a... The location is good, close to the old town and the University of Basel. We can see the old town gate Spalentor outside the room window. It's easy to walk to the main attractions in the old town or take the tram. The reception staff are very welcoming and the hotel provides free water and fruit at the counter, as well as luggage storage services. The hotel takes its guests very seriously. The room was bright, clean, quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, we were very satisfied.

Always a warm welcome from ladies on reception and during breakfast. Excellent stylish, comfortable hotel at a fair price. Easy one stop on bus 30 outside hotel to Basel SBB and on to airport. Perfect overnight stop. Old town Basel just down steps behind hotel.

I liked everything about this hotel. Breakfast was great with lots of thing to choose from. The room was spacious and clean. At night there was no noise from the outside. The curtains did the job - the room was completely dark at night. The staff was extra nice and accomodating. The hotel is close to the tram line that takes you right to the main train station and the centre of the old town.

This hotel is located in Basel's largest private recreational park, and yet lies in the heart of the city. Clean, updated and spacious room with lovely view of the garden! I suggest you get the included buffet breakfast - it was delicious!

Just 150 metres from Basel Main Train Station and the airport shuttle bus and only 10 minutes' ride by public transport to Basel Messe convention centre, Metropol Hotel is a modern non-smoking hotel... We stayed at Hotel Euler and were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Convenient location.
