Nestled along the Placencia Peninsula in southern Belize, Laru Beya Resort offers a serene escape near Seine Bight, a Garifuna village. Nelsey and Jordy in the restaurant were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were simply wonderful as was the food, views and overall stay.

Located at the southern tip of the Placencia Peninsula on the harbor side of Placencia Village, Alan's Paradise Hotel offers a restaurant & bar with free WiFi. I had accidentally booked a day later than my arrival date, but the owners went out of their way to accomodate me, my wife, and her neice. The room did not have space for a computer, so they let me set up in the dining room. They were great hosts, and the staff was friendly and helpful as well. We definitely recomment them.

Umaya Resort & Adventures is located on the beachfront in Maya Beach, just a 20-minute drive from Placencia. Location on a lovely beach, spacious, well equipped and clean apartment, food in the restaurant and pizzeria are excellent, free shuttle to Placencia town, free airport shuttle, golf cart and bike hire, helpful staff
