Situated on 2.5 acres of manicured gardens and lawns, the 1920s-style Brassey of Canberra is just 5 minutes' drive from the Parliament of Australia and Capital Circle. The staff is really nice. The Hotel is equipped really good - there is a fitness room, a snack bar, outdoor spaces. Overall the hotel is a historic building nicely renovated.

The furniture and wall colors were stylish. It was great that the fireplace in the lobby had a real fire. Since we didn't rent a car, it was convenient that the Questacon and Parliament House were within walking distance. You can also walk to the Floriade shuttle bus stop. When we rented bikes, they brought them to the hotel, so we could go cycling. We rode our bikes to the Mint.
