Occupying a historical building and renovated in 2015, ulmenhof-gosau.at is located in Gosau. Hornspitz Ski Lift is 3 km from the property. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious master bedroom and the apartment fits 5 of us nicely! The second room is smaller but fits a single bed and a bunk bed. Only one toilet but it was huge. The extra balcony with the Mountain View for this unit in particular was something we appreciated very much as we spent our breakfast mornings in that area daily. It was a nice time spent bonding with our young adults as they helped to prepare meals and breakfast. The supermarket is also just a 2 minute walk away. It is only about 30 minutes drive to Hallstatt and 1.5 hours drive to Salzburg. We really loved this property as it fit our purpose to come back and cook a nice hot meal and chill in the lounge area after a long day out. We discovered Gosausee only on the last day and it is only 7 minutes drive from Der Ulmenhof. What a stunning lake surrounded by mountains and many walking trails. I would love to come back and stay in this property just to go on those trails and come back to home cooked meals at Der Ulmenhof.

We travel in summer. Outside was 30 C, but in the room it was nicely cold just exactly to sleep in the cosy beds. The room in the ground floor overlooking the field. In the morning we heard singing of the birds.The bathroom was clean. The Landlords are very nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, we recommend home made bread and marmalade. Of course you can have eggs, yogurt, pepperoni and ham. If it's on our way we stay here.

Absolutely amazing place, window view in the room was astonishing, and you can enjoy the whole mountain view by yourself before and after the business hour of the cable car. The host and staff were also kind, breakfast was delicious.

Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. Pleasant location, not crowded; helpful staff; excellent breakfast and comfortable and clean room.
