Everything we needed for a night's stay in Clarens. Big rooms, comfortable beds & warm electric blanket for the cold nights. Nice coffee, tea & rusk station.. Was really happy with our stay.

Simply everything!! What a huge accommodation! It was so well decorated and gave a loft-feeling with a mix of New York City-brick style together with an authentic African and wood-style. It felt like the most fashionable-thinking yet modern and cosy-thinking renovator just passed through. First of all there was a spacious hall/eating area with an attached kitchen to it with everything in it that you needed and/or could use. Then you could enter the first sleeping room with 2 beds, chairs, a closet etc. Then there was a second big sleeping room with a huge bed and everything you needed as well. And then there was a smaller bathroom with a shower. The whole accommodation had such a unique style and atmosphere that I think everyone will love. Everything just seemed to match with each other and the whole setting. I picked up some great ideas for my own home. The specific decoration, the windows, the lighting etc etc, I can't seem to stop writing about it. Not to mention the private parking space and the huge terrace outside which was bathing in sunlight in the morning. It had a personal BBQ and everything and brought that vacation-feeling in a second. I am also obliged to mention the enormously friendly host! She was very communicative, friendly, spontaneous, interested and helpful. She took the time to guide us around and you could see she was really proud of her accommodation. We could hang our laundry there as well, and we were offered advice of the restaurants in the area. The whole accommodation was also well maintained and really clean. The Wifi was also great. The location of the place was also perfect: close to everything but it also felt secluded at the same time and it was really quiet there in the street. I have to admit that this place was one of the best we had in South Africa...!!

The view from the Terrace of the surrounding mountains was excellent. A lovely sunset on the evening of our arrival, comfortable seats in which to share a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down. The two rooms for the family were opposite each other, spacious with most comfortable beds.
