So far the best stay in Sri Lanka. It is a basic accommodation in the middle of the nature. The host and her husband spent more than 1 our with us searching for sleeping birds. I got some great shots. They searched with us in a book for the names of all the birds. Sunrise is stunning to watch right out of the balcony. You can walk around the lake and see so many birds, crocodiles etc. Just the people on the street who wants to offer you a guided tour where a bit annoying, but this has nothing to do with the accommodation. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable.

This property is one of the best in Sri Lanka. The room is fascinating. Very modern bathroom. The food that Indica cooks is unbelievable good. He is a real master chef 👩‍🍳. The whole family is great. We have new friends. They made us nearly cry when we had to go. Because of people like this, we will definitely come back to this beautiful country.

Stay was perfect! Really clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel has beautiful garden and fabulous rice fields bordering on hotel garden. Hostess was very helpful, polite and nice. Best recommendations!

Excellent hotel! Spotlessly clean, wonderful outside areas with a lovely pool and well kept yard. Delicious food and we were able to get a nice packed breakfast for the safari. Strongly recommend!

We had a super nice stay in the coconut garden hotel. We loved the facility, how the houses were arranged, the beautiful pool and the restaurant. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. The morning and evening safari that we booked through the hotel was an amazing experience. The driver was super engaged and helped us to have the best safari experience possible. We went to two different park entrances.

I had a very good time there. Really nice people! The dormroom is at the river and it's very close to nature. I booked the safari at Yala via the host and it was a well organised and exciting safari.

Openess of the downstairs area where you could meet up. The pool was so refreshing after the safari. Personable approachable manager/receptionist. Great breakfast. All staff were enthusiastic to help out. All seem well trained. Staff organized safari truck and driver for onward travel.
