It really felt like going back in time; beautifully decorated by Geoffrey Bawa giving the typical tropical movement vibe. Very tranquil place, the garden is stunning, breakfast delicious and you have the luxury of the swimming pool and just a 5 minute walk away also the quiet beach. The train running through the garden only every once in a while makes it extra special. The noise never bothered me while I am a light sleeper (as of midnight until +/- 05:00 the train doesn't pas by anymore anyway). There are many guests who have been coming back for years. That already says enough. The staff is incredibly friendly. Absolutely loved it here, thank you for this special experience and truly hope to come back in the future!

This was our forth or five visit to the hotel, we hadn't been in a few years and it really is just as good and well managed and kept as years gone by. The property is so well maintained, you can tell the staff are passionate about what they offer and they all pitch in to get things done. The rooms are amazing, the staff are friendly and the food was extremely good. The chef was very helpful with the dietary needs of our daughter and it was really appreciated from our side.

The environment was really great and something new for my family and specially for my children. The food really freshly cooked and served upon order. Special thanks to CAFE BEM team members SACHINDU, SANDALI, THARANGA and NAVAD was well supported and so humble to providing the needs. The room was so clean and more space to walked around and children was very happy play around the room space.

Another beautiful hotel of Cinnamon Hotels group. It's accommodation spreads over two wings. Has a separate pool for guests who stay in deluxe category or above rooms. Delightful room with a very good bathroom and a separate toilet. Nice lighting setup. Room had a direct access to the pool. But the noice was a bit loud in the pool so changed to another room on second day. Nathalee has organised this for us and special thanks for her. The housekeeping service was excellent. Room service meals were delicious. Breakfast was a massive buffet at 'Bufe' restaurant. Multiple dishes to select from different meal types. Special thank for 'Yasindu' a waiter from the restaurant who is doing a great job.

Everything about our stay was simply perfect. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and all the facilities were excellent. The view from the property directly overlooking the beach was breathtaking and added a special touch to our trip. I would like to give a special thank you to Dinithi, who went above and beyond to help us when we had an issue with the Booking.com system. We were extremely tired after a long journey, and her immediate assistance made a big difference. Also, I had one of the best experiences ever with late checkout at this hotel — something I’ve never encountered in such a smooth and generous way before. Roshan was incredibly helpful and supportive, making sure all our requests were handled efficiently and kindly. A heartfelt thank you as well to Lasantha, who took excellent care of everything needed for my elderly parents and young children.
