We had the best stay!! The family that run the place are so sweet and kind, and they made us feel right at home! We absolutely loved spending time on the balcony and eating amazing breakfasts every morning with a stunning view of Ella Rock. Excellent value for money and perfect location, close to the main street but away enough from any noise. It was perfect and I hope we'll be back one day!

We stayed three nights at The One Ella and it was a very pleasant experience. Dom, the owner, is a really nice guy and he really puts his pride in making the place look nice and giving his guests a wonderful and comfortable stay. He is very attentive and will make sure that everything is according to your wishes. He and his friendly staff made sure that breakfast every morning was according to our preferences and would be a great start to our day. And it really was. Sitting in the morning and evenings on the terrace and relaxing in the hammock was just as nice as we expected. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable and it’s hard to see how booking one of Dom’s rooms could be a failure. The location is also great, close to the Ravana Zip Line and Little Adams Peak. A perfect place to start some nice walks and have some exiting experiences.. Dom’s brother runs the place next door called Chill Out Cafe and serves some really good food - we ended up having dinner there two of our three days in Ella.

Amazing view of the waterfall ella rock and the incoming train from Kandy to Ella. Could see sunrise from bed. Comfortable balcony. Room was light and open. Water was hot and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was plenty. Renuka was a great host overall. Would’ve stayed longer but there no availability.

By far the most hospitable Homestay we have found in Sri Lanka with an amazingly warm and friendly family that is ever ready to assist with all your queries while you are in Ella. Fantastic value for money, the rooms are hygienic, and the food cooked by the family is absolutely delicious. It was perfect stay. The host helped us with everything, cooked for us delicious and big breakfast, booked a taxi for us. Always with smile from ear to ear. We stayed only 1 night, but is was pure srilankan experience. Definitely recommend.

Nice spot, a bit outside of the noisy area which we really enjoyed. Our terrace (where we also had breakfast) has an incredible view and the whole room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast. Perfect stay if you are in Ella!

Everything was perfect : the location was a bit out of the center town, but not too far, which was great because it was calm with a beautiful 😍 The family was very welcoming, thoughtful and kind ! The room was very nice and very clean with a balcony with a view on the mountains and the waterfall. Very good breakfast directly brought to your balcony. We could rent the motorbike directly to the family which was very convenient and cheaper than in town. You can't go wrong by choosing this place !

The view from the room is stunning, the whole valley and the small waterfall are visible and it is magical. The room is spacious, very well kept and so is the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and the owners are lovely, helpful and beautiful people. Thank you, it was really magical!
