The view was amazing, the dinner was very varied and tasty, it had around 10 different small dishes with different types of Japanese foods. We also went to onsen that was clean and enjoyable. The shuttle bus was very convenient - hotel offering an evening ride to see the Torii gate lighten up and the we went there again in the morning after checking out and once we were done sightseeing hotel delivered our luggage to the port and we went back to mainland.

Very nice hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. Staff friendly, and the foot bath in front of the hotel was very welcome.

Very friendly staff, nice location, loved the tatami and the bed. Bath was a nice little addition to comfort.

The classic Ryokan vibe was super cool. The traditional meals were excellent and the service was great. The location was perfect, peaceful even during the day. Amazingly quiet and beautiful in the evening. There's a shuttle to/from the ferry terminal but it's just a 20 minute easy beautiful walk if necessary.

The most Japanese feeling place we've stayed on the whole trip - even though it was full of western tourists. Nice place to stay on the island and experience the quiet once the daytrippers have headed back to the mainland. The evening curry was a nice surprise.

Very comfy room and excellent service and attention. They even contacted Booking because of a charging error that I hadn't even realized about and solved it before I ever notice it. The japanese breakfast was really good, lots of different things to sample and very well prepared. Excellent location at a walking distance from everything in town.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views.
