We really enjoyed our time here, the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and warm welcoming. The food was always amazing. I must leave an extra note for 5 stars cleaning! The city is clean with nice shops and amazing restaurants. We gonna go back again!

The Briscoe Lodge is located in a very quiet area close to the heart of Windermere: nearby, you will find shops, bars, restaurants and bus stops. The railway station is just a few minutes walk away. Graham, the owner, is one of the kindest person I have ever met. He is always ready to help and gave lots of advice about places to visit and which hikes to take. The place was really clean. Furthermore, the continental breakfast offered was really rich, including bread, jams, Nutella, yogurts, fruit juices and hot drinks. Finally, I would highly recommend this place and definitely would come back again!

    Staying here felt like all the comforts of home in the bedroom and all the luxury of a spa at the same time. It was heaven and a lovely relaxing treat. The staff were helpful and friendly and the glass of prosecco on arrival was a lovely welcome too. Would definitely recommend 🥰

    amazing setting, about a 3 minute drive out of Windermere. we got a free upgrade to a superior suite as it was an anniversary trip and got a complimentary drink as our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived. the breakfast was lovely and the hash browns were to die for. The room was extremely spacious and the bed was very large and unbelievably comfortable.
