The Bear is a historic pub in Hungerford with well appointed modern rooms (albeit with lovely exposed beams), great water pressure, and everything you need. The staff were very helpful and secured our touring bicycles in their Functions Room. The meals were excellent. While previous hotel guest were offered the Crown of England, were were offered an enormous full English breakfast - which is MUCH better. We'd stay here again.

Beautiful surroundings! Hundreds of ducks and swans. Tranquility and nature at its best 👌 I got all the writing done as I hoped for. Manual at reception was excellent! Friendly, very helpful and charming with a warm welcome. I will definitely visit again and again ☺️

Ideally situated just 15mins from Newbury, in a delightful village in the country, the Bunk Inn more than lived up to our expectations. Comfortable beds, a practical bathroom separated from the sleeping area, separate entrance from the pub and great meals. The breakfast was copious and well-cooked, with plenty of choice and the staff were always on hand. Will be back!
