The room was very comfortable and bathroom sparkled. Standards are obviously high. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely meal in the Dog and Gun in the evening - it was steak night- and it was were we opted for breakfast the next day. There is a nice lounge in the hotel where you can sit and relax if you want to read and relax. (escape from the Euro's!)Guest review byPatYoung couple

They thought of everything; from a place to put muddy boots and wet coats to hot water bottle and scissors in the room. Smart TV on a moving bracket and a nice seating area to relax in. Bathrobes that were large enough for L-XL person. Towel warmer in bathroom. Honesty bar with decent prices. Breakfast was lovely. Overall, excellent.
