Beds are so comfortable, food beautiful and staff were so helpful. We had to leave a day early due to a family bereavement and staff refunded one night immediately. So grateful for sensitive response in a difficult time.

We stayed in a Mews; they are well conceived for a couple. Delicious breakfast and setting. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Helpful staff.

The 5-star Marine Hotel is a grand building with views over the Firth of Clyde towards the Isle of Arran, overlooking Royal Troon Golf Course.

Seaview Suite # 202 "Tom Watson Suite" was classic. Beautiful sitting room with a perfect view of the iconic Royal Troon Golf Course and the sea. Very comfortable sectional sofa and a well stocked tea coffee biscuit type set up. The bedroom was also very comfortable, the bed was excellent, in room safe and several USB charging ports in addition to electrical outlets. Bathroom was nice buy a bit small, sink, toilet and walk in shower. Great towels and facecloths toiletries were good but a bit small in quantity for two guests. Breakfast was excellent, made to order plus a continental style buffet. Once again an incredible view from the Rabbit Restaurant while you have your morning coffee.

Close to Ayr and Prestwick town centres, The Carlton Hotel has stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi, and a bar and restaurant. Glasgow Prestwick International Airport is a 5-minute car journey away.
