The rooms were impeccably decorated romantic renaissance décor. The bed was incredibly comfy and heated for weary bones. The bathroom was immaculate and clean. Location was ideal for exploring that particularly historic section of Hobart. A well rounded breakfast that included smoked salmon, hot and cold breakfast items. Very complete.

We spent two nights in this beautiful property - the history just adds to the charm. The views of the harbour and Mt. Wellington in the distance are just the perfect sights to wake up to. The staff is exceptional. A special mention of Tim and Monica who made sure our tour bookings were the best options that worked for us and answered any and all questions we had about beautiful Hobart. The rooms themselves are well-appointed, quirky, comfortable, and just easy to relax in. We needed to keep our bags at the property after checkout for many hours as we had tours planned and the hotel did not hesitate to accommodate us.

The location was close to Salamanca Market, and the ferry to Mona. There were excellent restaurants and coffee shops close by. The stop for the bus to Mount Wellington was an easy walk away. Rooms were warm and well equipped.

Location was excellent. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. Quick and easy check in and out. Room was beautiful. Bed super comfortable. Bathroom luxurious and modern. On retrospect I think booking a wharf side room rather than city side would have been worth the extra as the wharf view was amazing and I was a bit sorry I had decided to save the money and not book it. Hotel was close to wharf where there were great restaurant choices and also to the city. The tours left from the wharf less than 5 minutes away. The Sky Bus from the airport was reasonably prices and stopped just outside the hotel.

Very nice suite/apartment in Salamanca Place- very central to everything. I stayed in Hobart for 4 days and this was the perfect accomodation. I loved the separate 'living area' and kitchenette (loved the inclusion of the coffee machine and air fryer) in my room. Bed was very comfortable. Apartment was spacious and clean. I didn't actually meet the staff at all but check in and check out was very easy with good information given via email and booking.com messages. Close by many restaurants, bars and a small shop within 2-3 minute walk The only thing to be aware of would be re Parking. As they had limited parking- I was only able to park my car in the car park behind from 3pm in the evening and until 10 am in the morning (cost approx 11AUD per night) before having to move my car during the mid morning/early afternoon. This was fine on the days I was away from Hobart seeing sites but difficult to work around when I went to the MONA one of the days as street parking around the area has a 3 hour max limit. However the rest of my stay was wonderful and I would recommend to friends and family.

Great location and very nice and comfortable apartment. We even got an upgrade to a bigger place, so that our 2 yr old could have his own room. Very considerate and such a nice surprise. Highly recommend staying here!

Welcoming and friendly staff ! The room was huge and had everything we needed, on top of that the location is beautiful.

Housed in a building built in 1846, the Customs House Hotel is located in front of the Derwent River and home to one of Hobart's oldest pubs.

Lovely location. Good breakfast. Tasty and reasonably priced food in restaurant. Clean rooms.

Overlooking the turquoise waters of Sandy Bay, Motel 429 features a sauna and a fitness centre with views over the Derwent River. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is standard in all rooms.
