Everything!! The place is magical, next to the lake providing a breathtaking view. The room was excellent, quite comfortable with a small kitchen for those who want to prepare their own meals. THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. This hotel was beautiful! The view from the room was fantastic. It was located right in the center, in a perfect location. Moreover, the staff, and especially Sandra, was exceptional and went above our expectations! She was very friendly and sociable with a great attitude! I highly recommend it! I believe this hotel offers the best value for money compared to any other accommodation in Hallstatt, and it’s truly one of the most beautiful hotels in Hallstatt. 10/10!" EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!
