How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

property was under construction, so i feel it would’ve been better closed as you can tell it’s undergoing maintenance. the room itself was really dirty and the towels were stained so i’m more than sure there’s no cleaning being done. i also didn’t like how my check out was at 11am and was awoken to an “employee” trying to jam the door open and did get it open thinking we were gone even though we told him we were inside, very unprofessional on his part. they also didn’t have breakfast just a heads up for anyone who wants a hotel with this. used to love this hotel as my family would stay years back but it’s been really runned down and wouldn’t stay again :(
i liked how the property manager treated us, and was able to provide a discount due to an inconvenience on booking.com

It was a roach hotel. I killed a dozen before bed. Had to stay on top floor because the bottom rooms were unrentable due to bad sewer problems. So bad raw sewage was coming out into parking lot. And no ice for your room. I had to go to a convenience store to buy ice.
I liked that they allowed my dogs. At least the sheets were clean and white.

The room was a complete disaster. For the same price I could have been somewhere way better. The bathroom had fallen apart, the room had no towels, the sheets were filthy, and I feel I was just ripped off and I don’t like it.

I disliked the smell of the room ! I definitely didn’t like that Hot Water Didn’t Work we also didn’t receive any Towels! We Booked A 2 Bed An Only One Bed Was Fixed With Sheets The Other Did not
I liked the location it’s surrounded by fast food,entertainment for family, Grocery store,Etc.

Hole in the wall where someone punched it. My kids found a full metal jacket bullet. No microwave.
It was close to food and convience stores. The 3 beds were comfy.

Tub was dirty the wall of the bathroom tub was popping out the room smelled bad and hair was everywhere one of the lights didn’t work it was not worth what I paid for
I only like the bed. That was really all I liked about the room.

The air conditioner in the first room did not work. They moved us to the 2nd room and the air conditioner didn't work either. We asked to he moved again and they refused to move us. We asked for a refund but they said they can only give half a refund because we stayed in the room even though we asked to he moved.

The mice in our room and the holes in the wall no p I llows or blankets and no towels either I had to fix the ac and refund the mirror etc..

We didn’t like the conditions of the rooms, facilities were very limited. Rooms were not so clean at all and both rooms need a lot of maintenance.
We liked the location close to many shopping areas. We also liked the easy way to check in and check out

They was a lot of sketchy people around, staff didn’t want to provide blankets, saying they didn’t have enough which is ridiculous because there wasn’t that many people there. No towels we had to complain to get some and the worst part we had to wait an additional 30 minutes after check in to get our room, I reserved the room 2 weeks in advance and they waited until last minute when we were already there to check in to tell the cleaning lady to clean it
The room size was the only good thing with all my kids

The room had dirty socks on the floor left by previous guest. Bed had no sheet, comforter, or pillow cases. Also there were no towels. Staff kept saying they would bring some. Then said they didn't have any clean. We never did get any of it.

The rooms were dingy, no towels no toilet paper I asked for non smoking the room smelled like smoke this place use be nice maybe the front but the back is very negelget our TV didn't work was told it was because no wifi but we had this room before and tvdidnt work than
