We think that the room is recently updated but there are no towel rails (used towels went on the floor) or fans in the bathroom (it was steamed up after a shower) There are a couple of noisy extractor chimneys on a building outside at the rear of the property, so we had to close the windows. There is a rooftop restaurant and viewing deck which is heavily promoted and part of this is to feed seagulls food on plastic forks. There are plastic forks all over the grounds and paths. The gulls crap over everything and everyone. If you decide to eat a meal on the viewing deck then good luck that you don't get more than you ordered on your meal.

An absolutely fantastic location, our room was big and comfortable. 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace. So many places to eat within a couple of streets. The breakfast is enormous. Ozi, the concierge, was excellent, so helpful.

Rooms did have a bit of a smell but then again building is a bit older than other hotels.

The property was in close vicinity to some tourist sites, restaurants and transport. Staff were friendly. Breakfast had a good variety of options.

The hotel was centrally located, so it may it easy to get around. All the staff were very helpful and attentive to my mom and I.

Excellent location, with an incredible terrace offering 360-degree views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Bosphorus. Amazing breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The room was on the second floor (or first floor in British way), can hear front desk staff watching videos all night, which is disturbing, particularly when you having jet lag. Recommended to go for a private yacht tour costs 300 euro in a rainy evening, the view obviously not as nice. Probably much better value to go for a group one and they did recommended that as well.

Location is great. Restaurant has great view. Breakfast was good. Staff like Ijmit was very friendly and helpful. Overall is good, but not the best value for money.

renovations ongoing extensive and oh so noisy, impossible to take a late afternoon nap to compensate for jet lag, before an evening out. as great as the hotel was if it was pointed out on the website that this was going to be the case, would probably have picked another hotel.
