Staff at reception gave us a free upgrade which was very much appreciated. Enjoyed food at the rooftop restaurant.

Cleaning and housekeeping was not as expected. Although the room, the beds and the bathroom were all quite clean to begin with - one day the room was not cleaned at all (and we had to call for new, clean towels). One of the towels during our stay and two of the bed sheets were not as clean as they could have been.

Great location, within walking distance of most of the center of town, and a few minutes walk from a couple of Metro stations (though we mostly used Uber). A large breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. A nice bar.

Our flight from US was cancelled so we arrived a day late. We requested, thru booking.com, to change dates of reservations but still stay 2 days, and Hotel Mundial said no. They were within their right given their policy, but I hoped they would understand our travel difficulties and accommodate our request. So that was disappointing. When we checked in, the staff at the front desk felt bad that we were paying for 2 nights and only staying one night so she upgraded us to a lovely room. Do not drive here. The parking is below the hotel and there is a spiral drive which is very narrow and steam and near impossible to navigate, especially on the way out. If you do drive, request that the lovely gentleman who works for Avis assist you in getting out of the parking garage. He saved us!

Some of the staff were excellent. very helpful. breakfast was great. It caters to bus tours so big crowds at times. The rooftop bar was lovely.

Rood top bar staff were not good. Couldn't sit where you wanted, service was very slow. As a result did not return. Lobby bar was not good. Not very welcoming as a result did not use.

We booked this room almost 1 year ago, when we arrived we had separate bookings and request to be in the same floor, the staff in the checkin desk did all they could to help us in a time the hotel was fully booked. The room was very big, we could work from the room apart from organizing our stuff. The rooftop bar has an incredible view. The location is perfect, close to main attractions and to the metro.

(Female) Bathroom in the lobby was terrible. I couldn’t use it when picking up the luggage in the afternoon (after check out). The water during shower changed from hot to cold within seconds, it’s taking a while to find a temperature to rinse the body.

Huge room with a castle view. The breakfast was good and had a great variety. The location is perfect, mostly everything is in walking distance. The staff was super nice and friendly. All of them were really competent and helpful.

The bathrooms had been "renovated" it would seem but to a basic level - the shower wasn't great and the tiles seem to be painted. Breakfast selection was good but quality was not great. I would have felt uncomfortable outside the hotel at night if I hadnt been with my husband and father.

Location was great for getting into the sights of Lisbon with a selection of great restaurants nearby. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable.

The breakfast experience was nota good one we only went for breakfast half of the time we were there it's badly organised and not great choice of items have had a much better breakfast when we were in Palma last year at another 4 star hotel.

The area outside the hotel (place in front of hotel) isn‘t the best location, though the metro is 2 min away.

Lovely hotel, close to the centre and all the attractions, but away from lots of noisy nightlife so it’s a very comfortable hotel to stay in! The reception and bar are beautiful and the rooftop bar is a great find with stunning views over the city. The staff are also very friendly and helpful giving lots of tips about where to go and what to see. The breakfast has a good selection of items and lots to drink options too. The hotel is also Nearby the metro that goes to the airport in about 30 mins - very handy!

Nothing that I didn't like but I'd tell people to plan ahead and book it with a good time in advance. I booked it 9m in advance and got a fair rate, some friends couldn't afford booking as the prices went up significantly around 3-4 months prior to the period of our stay. I felt the price I paid was worth it, but much higher than that was too much.

The best place to stay in Lisbon! 1. Perfectly located - in 5-10min walk from great restaurants and places to visit. 2. Great facilities - the bedroom was awesome. Large enough for you to walk around and organize your luggages. Great bathroom size, I had a hairstylist coming to do my hair for an event and we used the bathroom only, enough space and light for it. No regrets. 3. Still about the event, I needed a room for the makeup artist and hairstylist to do the hair and makeup of other guests for the event. I called the staff and they got us a perfect place and didn't charge extra, they were super helpful to support us with our last minute request. Can't thank them enough! 4. Comfortable bed and pillow, with very clean facilities. 5. Great breakfast with a wide selection of food and drinks. 6. Surroundings were overall busy so I felt like I was close to the heart of Lisbon. I would definitely return and recommend this place to anyone going to Lisbon.

Would have loved if the exterior windows were clean, we had a beautiful view of the city, but it was obstructed by dirty windows.
