How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Location and proximity to the Main Market and shops. Great access to the property via code rather than key. Great communication with the hosts who responded within minutes. Apartment was very clean and had practical items included like hair dryer, ironing board and an umbrella. We will definitely be staying there again.

The walls are thin so it got rather noisy especially at night, a tram right in front on the building woke us up, we also heard our neighbours. So it's better to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
Comfortable and spacious apartment in a short walking distance from the Old Town. It's beautifully designed, with a variety of lighting, proper both for studying and chill with the ambient light option. Glass doors and curtains provide intimacy while keeping an open space. The flat was also well equipped (washing machine, dishwasher, iron, big screen TV). The whole place was squeaky clean and smelled so fresh, it was a pleasure to stay there.

The only thing that could be improved is the noise insulation on the road side, as trams passing by in the morning or people talking loudly at night can be disturbing

it Would have been a 10 if elevator worked 2 of the days it was broken it was fixxed for a few hours then broke next day again ie day of checkout they did not send anyone to help me carry my suitcases down 4 flights nor did they delay check out. There is no reason they cant havea left luggace in building. I loved Krakow The aprtment is very nice but makesur you are on floor 0.

We didn't receive the instructions on how to get to the apartment on time. Late check in , at 15.00, early check out, at 11.00
Location was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped . Towels, beddings were very good. Comfortable bed and sofa, excellent WiFi. Apartment style

Amazing modern apartment with everything you need. Comfortable beds & absolutely spotless. We arrived early due to a really early flight so i contacted the apartments and the nice lady on the phone sorted it so we could acess the apartment before 15.00. Location was perfect. Would 100% book here for our next visit. Can't wait to return.! Kraków it's been AMAZING X

The room being far too hot due to AC not working.
apartment 103 is situated at the front of the building. It is very modern, clean and well equipped. The bathroom and kitchen were finished to a high specification. The apartment is very comfortable and has great social space to relax in. It is in a very convenient location for bars, restaurants and great access to shops for essential supplies. A downside to the apartment being at the front of the building is the noise from the trams that run along the road (until late in the evening and start very early in the morn), ideally staying at the back of the building would avoid this noise. We had a prob with the AC not working and the window in one of the bedrooms was locked (and no key), we contacted the landlord who was very quick to respond but unfortunately these issues weren’t resolved, which wasn’t ideal as the apartment was ridiculously hot during the night and made sleeping very uncomfortable. There is still some working outstanding in the communal areas eg no lighting in the hall outside the apartment which isn’t ideal when trying to lock the door and use the safe key.

It was amazing place to stay! Brand new apartment, with everything needed for our stay. The location is exellent, just a 5 minutes walk to Old town. The area is calm, cozy and have so much spirit of Krakow. I like the door access with code, was easy and good way no keep keys during the trip. Thank you, Muse!
