Room could be bigger and the water taps were mixed. Cold was hot and hot was cold.

Nice hotel staff. Extra exit for hotel guests. Always open and looked safe. Cameras everywhere.

- the room could be cleaner (hair and dust on the floor in some corners) - fyi: you need to make a deposit that you will get back when checking out - fyi: maps of Georgetown street art can be found in the lobby but no further information by the staff

The bed was reasonably hard, so lacked a bit of comfort for me. No coathangers in wardrobe to allow clothing to be out of luggage.

Very good staff, friendly, helpful & attentive. Great location - handy to walking the streets of Georgetown, yet very quiet for restful sleeping at night.

One of the rooms had ants. Only realised it in the morning when clothes and bags were full of ants. This was unacceptable. Other than that, access to the carpark was a bit confusing.

Friendly welcome and got a free upgrade to the first floor. At the basement which I booked originally the rooms are small and windowless. Die to slow business they gave me a free upgrade. Thank you very much again. Security is also equally good.

They had a system for the WiFi where you had to get a code for the Wi-Fi every day, it only lasts 24 hours. Which meant you have to trek down to reception every day to get this, and input it. I only found out when I was checking out after three days that they had some codex that last for up to 4 days, I don’t know why I wasn’t offered this when checking in.

Bathroom drainage issue, was resolved quickly after Elaine was notified. The night staff(Indian guy) claimed he not aware despite he told me that he will notified the house keeping.

Private car park & Elaine allow me to park 3 bicycles in a secure area under the hotel stairs.

Very near to street of art and other attractions , Elyn is wonderful person at reception very very helpful and friendly, overall the room was clean and tidy and had nice nostalgic theme.

This review is hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

Loud noise each time hotel guest shuts the door. The window shutter tilt rod doesn't stay open to provide natural sunlight & air through hence it remains shut. We couldn't imagine those bedrooms without windows.

The location was perfect & walking distance to most eating places & interesting locals / tourists hotspot. Most importantly off street parking is provided as most hotels in Georgetown don't provide parking facility. Great shower with excellent water pressure.

I’m not at all happy that I paid extra for a “queen room with garden view” that has NO garden view, just a window looking at a wall about a foot away. I addressed this with the day manager, who said she’d been trying to get this fixed on booking.com for two months, but that they have not replied. And that the guest before me in the room had also been unhappy about this. Do NOT spend your money on the “queen with garden view,” you’d be better off in a room with no window. The only upside to this room was that it’s in the rear of the hotel, so quieter than the rooms near the street. I plan to address this with booking.com as it is NOT OK to be charged extra for a room that’s actually less appealing. I also found the evening staff to be unwelcoming and unhelpful.

The hotel is in a great location to walk to most sites, and is near several excellent coffee places, cafes, and restaurants. The room is small, but is clean and set up well with everything you’d need. (It would be tight for two people.) The woman who works reception during the day is very friendly and helpful. A serviceable stay.
