How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Room is a bit small. But fine for 1 or 2 nights.
Great hotel if you are flying to or from terminal al 2. The restaurant is actually really good. Try the orange juice! Free shuttle to other terminals every 30 minutes. Hardly any noise despite being in sight of the runway.

Towels a bit small. The airport is a long way from the city, just to be aware
Very easy to find as it's inside terminal 2. Very convenient for an early flight or late arrival. Drinks and food available. SkyTrain shuttle nearby takes you for no charge to other terminals and the train station (or bus when it's not running (train shuttle runs 6 am to 9 pm). Staff friendly. Breakfast has local and international choices. Bed is comfortable. Air-conditioning worked well.Bottles of water provided on arrival, which is good as you are advised not to even brush your teeth with the tap water. It's very quiet considering you are near the runway

Towels were a bit tired. Despite being non smoking the building and room smelt of smoke.

Always had trouble with our key card to our room. Depended on staff in the hallways who had the special touch to get the door open for us. Breakfast was alright.
Conveniently located in the airport. It wasn't our terminal that we came in or out of and we were able to utilize their free shuttle service. Restaurant on site but also all of the options at the airport if you want something different.

This was our second stay at Jakarta Airport Hotel. The staff are friendly, free shuttle bus, delicious breakfast, comfy bed, which was much needed after a long journey and to continue with our domestic flight the next day. Sound proof room, which is amazing. We will go back for sure.

The in room massage service needs improvement. Had to use our bathroom towels and both the bed and towels were spoiled with oil afterwards. Also massage therapist need a bit more training. Quite friendly though.

I paid for a late checkoput but my key stopped working before the checkout time so I had to get a new one.
Very easy access to the Hotel from Terminal 2. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Good facilities, but maybe a little dated in some respects. We hadn't realised that the location of the hotel in Terminal 2 was not within walking distance of Terminal 3. However, the hotel organised a courtesy minibus which was appreciated.
Excellent location in the Airport terminal. The room had a view of the runway but was very quiet. The staff were very helpful and organised a transfer to Terminal 3 for us. Overall good value and ideal for an early morning flight. Early morning call made as promised.!

Staff collected us from the terminal as we flew into a different terminal to the one the hotel is in. We had an issue with a flight being cancelled and the lovely check in staff rang the airline on our behalf to help sort this.

My room was right at the end, so a bit of a walk, no lifts or other exit/entrance had to rely on staff with suitcases.
Location was excellent. Upstairs from the departure for my flight, practically 5 minutes walk. Eateries were plenty. Overall very comfortable and convenient for my one night stay. Love the big pillows.

Shuttle bus has too be arranged in advance otherwise it won't be there, especially if you arrive at night.
Friendly staff and good breakfast but beware of too much pepper in the foods they serve :) You can't reach the hotel on your own, you have to take a shuttle bus which seems to be always there but you have to agree with the staff on time etc because it's not on the parking lot waiting for you. If they know when you arrive and get a confirmation you need the shuttle, it will be there. So for me it was a challenge to arrive there because this shuttle situation was a bit unclear.

Perfectly located only 5 minutes by Skytrain from Terminal 3. Very well insulated against noise from starting planes. Welcoming and friendly staff. We loved the excellent breakfast at 3 a.m.
