Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsToo dark. The lights in the apartment are really not enough. It’s a vibe of boudoir. Probably good for a romantic evening but impractical if you need just good place of stay. All the windows look to the “internal garden”. So, on rainy day you just locked in a room with absolute lack of light. Internet connection was not excellent as well - zoom calls were complicated to perform.
Well equipped apartment, nice and clean. Relatively easy to get to with a car/taxi.

We didn't realise until close to our stay that this is essentially a hotel room located in an apartment building. The room is fully serviced to an exceptional standard but it's a little odd to call it a hotel room

PortugalI booked a room at MiHotel because of the specific location and room type. On the evening before my arrival, around six o'clock, I received a phone call informing me that they had to place me in a different apartment quite far from the initial location due to an issue with the room I had reserved. As I was in a work meeting, I reluctantly agreed but mentioned that I would call back as soon as possible. When I called back after 6 pm Portugal time, a gentleman answered, claiming he knew nothing about the situation and wouldn't take any action until the next morning, nor would he leave a note for his colleagues. Considering my flight was scheduled for 7 am and I would arrive in Lyon around 10:30 am, this was far from ideal. After arriving, I then went to the central MiHotel in Lyon, where they informed me that they couldn't do anything, and I had to either stay in the assigned apartment or cancel my reservation. It's worth noting that I was paying over 300 euros per night. Somewhat condescendingly, they offered me a choice of either a bottle of wine or champagne, along with the snacks that would be in the room. After settling into the apartment, which was at a considerable distance from the originally booked location, I decided to confirm the arrangement before opening the champagne. I wrote an email (which I still have) where they informed me that I was not entitled to anything. After much insistence on my part, they reluctantly allowed me to consume half a bottle of champagne, but nothing else. The snacks they had initially offered were now stated in writing to be at my expense. Moreover, the apartment was poorly restored with holes in the wooden floor. The advertised brunch was quite limited. The entire process was mismanaged, and it certainly did not justify the high price.

FranceCustomer service really sucks, sent payment link even if I have registered my card on booking for the paiement, the link sent was not working, many totals to do paiement not possible, told them that I can pay via booking as it’s working for me, they said no, you give us toi car number or try with link or we cancel your reservation for the day of my arrival. Imagine the stress, basically though that everything was ok with booking. After many trials found that their link does not work on safari, so surprising and silly they had to precise it. We pay such price we expect a good service, it was not the case. Even for the late check for which I was ready to pay, In the begging they told me that it was ok at the end no, how comes that you communicate on something that finally you are not able to propose. I will never come back event the place was good customer was not from my point of view good mainly in a context where they don’t have reception. So if you had a problem do not count on them they might let without reservation

Italywe found feathers in the duvet so we asked if they could change it, they didn’t have any other things. (for a expensive suite it is not acceptable)from the pic I couldn’t understand anything if there was a door for the bathroom , well there is no, so the bathtub, sink and the shower were exactly in front of the bad : NO PRIVACY. for 190 euro one night absolutely no. there was a noise every 2 second Inside the room (from the floor, the heater, I don’t know what else) . and the plug on the left of the bed was not put properly, I could remove it. dangerous .

MexicoMihotel offers a new system (that we did not like). It gives you access to an apartment, but it is not a real hotel. There is nobody to welcome you and for many of us that is important. We had to made several phone calls in order to get codes to access the place, something you do not have to do in real hotels. The "intelligent" system that presumably controls everything, did not work when we tried to get the room's temperature down. However, the person that helps you in the offices (four blocks away from the suite) was very kind.

Disappointed. Old building. The elevator burly fit me and my bag. The bed sheets were not completely clean. The room smells like cigarettes. No reception. No parking, and even nearby parkings were full. The decoration was nice though.
