It is very difficult to find something at this hotel we did not like. Thought that perhaps the food and drink prices were just a little higher than other locations nearby. Appreciated the warm welcoming in the buffet breakfast location by the young woman who appeared to be the supervisor though we did not ultimately choose to join them for breakfast.

As nice as the hotel itself was, the staff actually made the big difference in our stay. We were greeted warmly by Paul at the front desk after a pretty terrible cab ride from the cruise dock. He answered all of our many questions, made us feel at ease, and helped us orient in Barcelona. We loved the low desks where the 2 check-in staffed work each with 2 chairs for the guests to sit in while engaging the staff. Very warm and welcoming versus tall, high desk behind which staff stand and seem to hide and customers are forced to stand.... Also though we do not recall their names, two female check-in staff were also consistently exceptional as well. Warm and helpful. One moved from Argentina, the other we think from Italy and both went out of their way literally to assist us Antonella's service to us in the restaurant was superb at all times. But what we loved best was how warm and friendly and informative she was to us. She took considerable time with us to share her experiences in Barcelona and despite how busy she always was, she remained highly attentive and engaging to all customers. She is an unbelievable employee of this hotel, truly exceptional person that I'm sure H10 Met values greatly! Thanks also to Adolfo and Ian for tremendous support of her and the restaurant operations while we were there. By providing such cheerful, genuine, and helpful service to their guests, the staff clearly show their full support and affection for their jobs and their hotel/employer. Highly recommend this hotel

All the employees, without exception, were so friendly and kind and welcoming. Everything was so easy, from check out and a complimentary drink to check out. Slept like a baby in the property and it was so close to everything. Modern, clean and beautiful.

The hall ways could have been a little cleaner and the cleaning staff came into our room a few times despite us saying we didn’t need the turn down service or being cleaned.

Brilliant location. Spacious bedrooms. Good size bathroom. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff everywhere. We didn’t eat breakfast in the restaurant so I can’t comment on that. We ate snacks/light meals in the bar which were good. The drinks in the bar were not overpriced. The swimming pools were clean and the water was tested everyday. The public areas were never crowded and they were cool and comfortable.

The staff was great at check in, super welcoming but once we were checked in, they never greeted us or looked up again. We tried to say hello each time we entered the hotel but couldn't get their attention. Did not feel warm or welcoming at all.

Location was perfect. Close to the metro and walking distance to so many restaurants, shops and attractions. We stayed in the jr suite which was lovely with its own patio. The room is small but layed out well. The bar/sitting area of the hotel was great! Tons of seating, good vibe and great bartender.

The pool isn’t heated. The receptionist who was always on duty with Andrea during our stay always makes faces, this is a bad impression for the hotel.

The location is great, close to public transports. The room we got was amazing, thanks a lot. Comfortable beds, quiet, good view. Aircon is working. The receptionist, Andrea, is lovely, she communicates very well. Breakfast is not that excellent but still okay.

In the centre of Barcelona in reach of many sites and transport to even more. Very caring and friendly staff. Beautiful entrance hall and lounge area including terrace at the back that is an oasis of clam compared with the streets outside. Rooms have real air conditioning (unlike many other hotels in the city) that you can control from your room rather than being locked into the whole hotel being on either a warming or cooling mode - some Barcelona hotels have the heating on in April when it’s 25 C outside! Our bedroom had a terrace with two chairs overlooking the inner courtyard and so was peaceful. Coffee machine and tea provided in the room. Great bathroom with two sinks and decent shower. Large comfortable bed. It’s not a massive room but with the terrace to escape on to it feels sufficiently spacious. Highly recommended hotel for a stay in Barcelona

I can't really find a fault with the hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, easy access to La Rambla and Gothic Quarter, but also with bus stops and metro just outside. The hotel staff were so friendly and very helpful with some excellent restaurant recommendations. Corinne was very helpful at breakfast. I liked that little details had been thought of such as blankets on the balcony chairs.

Housekeeping not very friendly. Room double doorlock did not work. Toilet has a slow water leak in the base so we had to use a towel around it to keep floor dry. Also, ventilation in toilet was weak. Price of room is not for those travelling on a budget.

Location is superb, in main shopping area with plenty of good tapa restaurants next door. Airport bus station in a 5min walk (@5 Euro per pax) and 2 metro stations are also nearby, both within 5 min walking distance from hotel. Taxi from port is around 30Euros, to airport around 40 Euros. Situated in a beautiful building with thoughtful layout and modern classy design, an oasis in the city center with a small swimming pool in garden next to restaurant/bar and another small pool on roof top. Rooms are huge. Stayed at suite with jacuzzi in small private yard which is unique and cool. Breakfast is splendid and a must-have! Keep the Champagne flowing, cheers!

The beds were a little uncomfortable if you are a bit older, but the right stacking of pillows will help address this. We had some issues about halfway through with new hotel neighbors who were slamming doors to go back and forth between each others rooms, however the concierge was very helpful and kind and said they would gently ask them to reduce it if they could catch them before going out. There was some confusion about the cleaning-we had the "do not disturb" sign out the first couple of days, but then after that the room wasn't really cleaned unless we asked (but when it was, the cleaners did a super thorough job), which may have been a communication issue on our side, but just making that process clearer could be helpful.

My friend and I booked this H10 hotel for a 10-day stay in Barcelona after staying in the same chain in Venice last year and being impressed by it. We opted for the two twin bed room with a terrace overlooking the courtyard and the included breakfast (which was an amazing idea). The breakfast is fantastic-there's a limited cold buffet and warm savory and sweet menu, and the waiters were fantastic. We met Ekaterine on the first morning and saw her most mornings thereafter-she was so attentive and friendly, we felt so welcome, and could see others around us feeling the same! The concierge were extremely helpful in booking taxis, recommending restaurants, helping us with requests, and even left us a little complementary snack our last day there. We also ended up spending a fair amount of time at the hotel bar because of rain, which was very lovely-if you get the food, I recommend the local cuisine over international options, and the cocktails were amazing, as well as the comfort and atmosphere of the lounge.

We booked for the pool and sadly the pool was unheated. But that didn’t impact our stay at all! Everything else was still perfect :)
