A wonderful setting, nice and friendly staff. I recommend it for those who love peaceful and quiet places, green areas, and cats! ;) There is a new menu in the restaurant and we could taste local specialities or eat a burger if we wanted to. This wasn't our first time in the hotel and hopefully not the last.

Shower head would not hold well in the wall fixture (incompatible wrong diameter hose fitting). Day old homemade bread offered on Monday at breakfast. I would have preferred fresh baked bread from a local bakery.

Very nice upscale hotel in a quiet location. Nice breakfast buffet. Staff very friendly and trying hard. Good parking.

really happy with the location outskirts of the town Zdar, with an opportunity to do country walks or wonder around the lake near by. the food was delicious, breakfast looked great even for buffet or you can have freshly cooked breakfast of your choice available at no extra charge and tasted great. the hotel room was nice and tidy, powerful shower, vine mini bar and soft drink mini bar which I was very happy with despite that the restaurant close early due to the C-19 government guidance. the staff was very helpful speaking good English, very smooth check out .... would definitely book again

Not at all a reflection of the hotel itself but there must have been a Christmas party or other such celebration occurring on the first night of our stay, as there were folk coming and going all night till at least 4.30 in the morning, which made for rather a restless night. All other nights it was quiet.

This is a lovely property just to the north of the town of Zdar nad Sazavou . It is located in a recreational area by a large reservoir and the River Sazava. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy any of this as we were there on business and it was the middle of winter. Nevertheless, the rooms were comfortable enough and the adjoining restaurant meant that we didn't have to go far for breakfast and dinner. It seemed that the majority of the other guests were also there on business at the time. Anyway, definitely a solid choice and must be great in the summer!

Charming place and very good halt with nice people and good food in my bicycle ride midway between Pragua and Slavkov. I really enjoyed the evening, the night and the generous and qualitive breakfast. Definitely will try to stop again if on my way.

As a third person I slept on a couch that was not very comfortable. I requested an extra blanket to use as a cushion and staff was very helpful and it resolved my issue.

The staff was very pleasant that is sometimes hard to find in the Czech Republic and everything was clean. It is also a great location.

The room was not quite what we expected from the description, with few plugs to use and no place to put the luggage (plus a very noisy extraction fan in the bathroom). I expect the rooms on the first floor may be roomier/more comfortable.

The staff were all very nice. A good location for sports activities, plus UNESCO heritage site within walking distance.

Very nice building by the lake, cosy interiors, nice restaurant with seasonal dishes (although vegetarian options were very limited at the time).
