Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaOverall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again - two minor issues for us: - we received a room with 2 "double" beds - we are two taller than average people who are not overweight by any means, however, we could not both comfortably fit together in one bed so we took 1 bed each. Not a huge issue, but we were expecting a room with one single large (queen/king) bed. - after 11pm the front doors to the hotel are locked (which is great for security), so we ended up having to wait for someone to come to the front desk to let us in (not long but still) - not sure if it is feasible to have a swipe card system for the front door so guests do not have to wait?
Very nice clean 2-room suite, which was larger than anticipated, in a good location. We were able to walk to the Cote des Neiges metro quite easily to reach our end destination. The immediate area is very nice with lots of markets (24/7 fruit market with great produce!) and restaurants around. It is near a university so there are a lot of students, but we didn't find it overly loud. The parking was nice to have (at the time of our stay it was $23 extra) as it is covered and secured underground.

CanadaThe hotel is very well located, almost across the street from a metro station. As well there is a grocery store (useful, as there are basic kitchen facilities) and many other facilities on the street nearby.

United KingdomExcellent location for Mount Royal park, nice walk. Also for the local metro station, short stroll down the road, taking you anywhere in Montreal. Locally plenty of eateries and small supermarkets to buy whatever you need.

CanadaSome parking available but it is paid parking.
Easy to find the hotel and easy to get to the main highways. Also, even if it is located in downtown Montreal on a main street with lots of traffic, we found it very quiet; we didn't hear any people in the hallways after 11:00 p.m. -- very quiet and restful.

CanadaThe location was clean, friendly, and with many options for food and/or groceries. We stayed in a standard suite and found it quite spacious. Had a view of St. Joseph's Oratory. Parking is challenging with cars having to get blocked in but the hotel staff made the process of extracting our car easy and quick so in the end the parking was no bother. We would stay there again.

CanadaAlthough the shower was large and nice, the water pressure was way too low. Finding a parking spot can be tricky in the area. You can use the hotel's parking, but you'll have to pay an extra $23. Don't bother with breakfast in the small chocolate shop associated with the hotel, unless a banana and a Yop, as 'Yogourt with Fruits' is your thing. You have much better options right across the street.
After booking, we received an email that our request for a king bed was approved. When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a room with a queen bed. After complaining, we were upgraded to a suite with a king bed, which was appreciated. The suite was great, and the bed very comfortable.

CanadaThe parking and garage was not easy to park. Double-row parking was a bit inconvenient. although you can park in the streets, there is a chance of car thefts. ome receptionists were not very friendly.
We booked the hotel to be close to Jewish General Hospital to visit a sick relative and that was the closest hotel we could find. The room was well-decorated and large. It had two full beds and one futon bed in the living room. A full kitchen and dining area was something we did not expect but was a bonus. The neighbourhood was full of restaurants, bakeries and good cafes. We had breakfast in a bakery next to the hotel and the food was delicious. There was a nice bookstore in front. It was very pretty. There was a laundry machine and dryer in the basement available to use. The hotel is perfect for families to stay.
