- From US$740.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 580 reviewsThe setting was so beautiful with absolutely incredible views. We booked for 2 nights & after a day in Addo the first day we decided to spend the full 2nd day in camp figtree & it was so relaxing; they had nice deck chairs by the little pool, lovely food & drinks, the staff were all fantastic. Our room (the outpost) was gorgeous, we had an outdoor shower & bath and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this spot especially if you are looking for relaxation & luxury in the middle of a trip!Guest review byMaeveIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 73 reviewsWe had an amazing stay at an amazing lodge. In particular: great food, spectacular views and super well organized safaries in the mornings and afternoons. From the moment you arrive at the gates, you can fully relax as everything is well taken care of. Thanks also to Melanie for making the Safaris unforgettable and for spotting all the animals we would otherwise have missed as well as for the vivid and detailed explanations.Guest review byIsabelGermany

The general degradation of SA coastal towns is evident and is costing the economy hundreds of millions as tourists are put off by high crime rates, poor service in some shops and municipal lethargy. Water restrictions are in place due to poor planning by unqualified municipal executives. Municipalities need to raise standards by hiring people who can prove their effectiveness and have qualifications and/or experience with testimonials. MacArthur pool was empty. Indifference seems to be the order of the day. Makro is a great store to visit. Addo game park is also recommended. Cape Recife is a great drive. The weather was warm and traffic flowed well.Guest review byBridgetSouth Africa - 10.0

The people are awesome and we had fun! The beach is fantastic for long walks or just relaxing. There is no shortage of entertainment and you are welcomed by everyone. I would recommend this place to all. Sea shells offers great food and right on the beach. The kospot offers homely meals. The hideout is an amazing bar for people to gather. We had a fantastic weekendGuest review byVanessa - 10.0

Beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Tsitsikamma Lodge in the forest, stunning accommodation. Storms River Village a must to visit, lovely restaurants and starting point for outdoor activities . Enjoyed the Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour, the guides were so friendly, had loads of fun! Marilyn's 60's Diner - lovey restaurant definitely worth a visit. Don't forget to visit the Wolf Dog Sanctuary Would love to have spent more time there to explore the hidden gems.Guest review byGraceSouth Africa - 10.0

We have been to Addo probably 40 times and just never get enough of it, and once again on rare occassions, saw a lioness up close. As always there were plenty of Buffalo, Elephant, Zebra, Red Hardebeest, Warthog, Kudu, and oh! a Hyena!Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 4.0

This is a prime example of how Africa is doomed. You can still see how beautiful that city was before the ANC took over and all of that beauty and the lifetimes of effort that went into creating it lies in wasted ruins.Guest review byRossSouth Africa - 10.0

The town has a long history and it is very well worthwhile exploring the sights in town as well as the nature reserves nearby. The Valley of Desolation is amazing. Plenty of good places to eat in town. On Sundays the town is very quiet.Guest review byNOELSouth Africa - 8.0
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff.
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff. I wish you can improve on your breakfast, put more effort on it and also use nice tasty sausage. I couldn’t use the phone in the room to make phone calls to the reception so I had to use mine which was not fair. The food at the restaurant was delicious and I didn’t even have to go out. The service was excellent at the Wellness and beauty Spa.Guest review byNokulungaSouth Africa - 10.0
