VERY clean! Lisa greeted us and was delightful! Great breakfast and big tv in the table area. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles biscuits and gravy plus beverages and other breads. Many fast food choices nearby and Applebees is a short walk if you want alcohol.

Awesome! Loved the variety of food. Kids had several options of food and drinks they like to eat. Food was kept hot or cold per temperature requirement. Staff were friendly and interacted with guests. Area kept cleaned. Thank you❣️ Hotel is close to walking distance to lots of activities for both adults and kids.

    The room at this hotel are amazing!! Having sleeping quarters in a different room is very handy when I have to get up to take care of baby's needs while letting the rest of the family sleep in the middle of the night. Bathroom was very spacious and had both a separate shower and a tub/shower combo so two people go get ready at the same time. Rooms were very quite, secure, and comfortable. There were extra blankets and pillows stored in the room already so we didn't have to ask. Since this hotel is downtown having a secured parking option was a very nice option. We will be back to do more exploring in the area. So very pleased with this stay!

    We spent a lot of time on my alma mater's campus which is where the Oread is located. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant and server Chloe was outstanding at service and hospitality. It was really busy on Saturday as we watched the football game at the bar with many other people. And we had a fabulous time in great part due to her hard work and attitude. I was an HR Director for thousands of employees at the US Forest Service and high potentials always impress me. Hotel is very nice and clean. The parking garage is safe and important as campus parking is always a challenge otherwise.

    There was no breakfast and the restaraunt doesn't open early enough for breakfast.BUT having the swimming pool, basketball goal, volleyball net, pool table for the family is awesome. This is our third stay. Our grandkids compete at the Young Guns Jr. Rodeo Association at the Expo Center. We will be at your hotel two weekends in february. The staff also made sure we had lst floor pool side rooms since my daughter needs lst floor for her family with twin boys.

    Beautiful facility, full breakfast and dinner meal provided in the room cost. The staff - super friendly! 3 free drinks from the bar also included for each adult per evening. They had a parking garage and outside parking. No charge for either.

    The Cow Town Museum was beyond exceptional in quality of artifacts. I have a minor in history and teach Texas history which includes some of the topics that this museum included (Chisholm Trail-pioneers of the west-Native people of the U.S.). It was fascinating walking through the town and actually being able to go into all of the homes, businesses, and buildings. The shoot out was great too and I loved that the saloon served cold drinks. I've also been to the Pizza Hut museum and the one downtown that's historical as well (like an old house a few stories tall)??? Wichita (near the Country Club) was manicured and lovely. People are friendly too.

    The Overland Park area that we stayed in is very nice....modern and well maintained. Lots of curving streets to get mixed up on, but we had our phone GPS, so we were good. However, I would definitely recommend having a GPS for any city!

What a concept I is was charged extra charged extra plus no compensation for the unacceptable stay including pungent smell of Weed and Cigarettes.     Kansas is nice, I like how it has a lot of hills. Its not big but not small either. Hopefully next time I can stay longer to tour. I was there for a church event at the Hy-Vee Arena and did not stay long to tour

    You will love Hays.

    You will love Hays. Whether it's upscale services or the Old Town" shopping you enjoy...they have it all. This hotel was the finest we've stayed in over the past few years. Give Hays a try; kick off your shoes and stay a few days.

    My family and I stayed at the Virginia Inn in August of 1965 when our house was being built in Lawrence. Staying there brought back many good memories. The room was spacious and comfortable and the owner and staff were very concerned about my needs and cared about my comfort. A real bargain!

    Manhattan is a quintessential Midwestern college town.

    Manhattan is a quintessential Midwestern college town. The town wraps around the university on 3 sides and college activities are integral to the activities of the town. Manhattan has a nice walkable Main street along with a student-oriented commercial district across the street from the university. K-State is a full on fanatical for their sports teams and the fans and alumni far and wide show up for their teams. There are also some nice big city amenities like bistros, brewpubs and speakeasys. Manhattan is definitely worth a weekend trip to take in a sporting event and explore the surrounding area.

    hotel was dirty. changed rooms as the first one had a dirty bed. The staff didn't care and made no apology. Breakfast was good, so clearly it was the mid shift that had bad attitudes and no customer service. 'I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    This is an old hotel that has had some renovations.

    This is an old hotel that has had some renovations. It is poorly managed with some inoperable lights in the room. The pool was closed. A security door to the interior does not lock all the time. Some of the lights in the hallway were out. There was a Roch (Bug) by the automatic pancake make during breakfast. I asked the clerk to have the manager call me and gave them my phone number but they did not. There are much better Hotels Kansas to stay at similar pricing.
