Great, friendly staff! I got sick during the night after some overseas travel, and the reception staff offered to help me out in any way they could. I appreciate that very much. Also, other building staff members were very cheerful in our interactions with them. The rooms looked renovated and were very tidy. Very comfortable beds and nice furnishings.

The room size is big enough and you find all things you need daily. Coffee and Water is always for free. The bed is very comfortable and the room is very clean. The Atwood restaurant is a really nice place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The taste and quality of the food is always delicious. All staff is very friendly and always helpful. Ample parking, great car park lighting (safe!!), great sized rooms with everything a business traveller passing through could need. Breakfast was excellent.     The location is just perfect! We didn't take car or public transportation. In 15-20 minutes walk you are next to all touristic attractions. Housekeeping was provided every day. Very clean. Super comfortable mattress.

    Chicago is great!

    Chicago is great! LOVE using the train system to get around. We bought the CityPass to visit five venues and it worked great. It was a great savings. We went to 360 View, The Shedd Aquarium, The Adler Planetarium, Willis Tower SkyDeck, and the great Griffin Science and Industry museum where we could have spend another entire day. It was good to see that the museums were updated and geared for families. I traveled with our 10 and 12 yearold grandkids. Lots of great walking in beautiful weather. Restaurants, stores, floral displays, and display windows are fabulous: Ed Debevics, Harry Carey, Cheesecake Factory, and Stan's Donuts. Harry Potter Store at the Omni, American Girl Doll Store, Lego Store, Museum Souvenier Shops and more.

    My e-mail said we had reservations at Rosemont, but our hotel was actually the Cumberland. Could have been much better direction to the hotel. I believe that's on Booking.com which I will most likely never use again. It caused a lot of problems. The hotel at Rosemont seemed nice. The one on Cumberland, where we eventually had to go, was not so nice. A very worn out hotel.

    Schaumburg is a beautiful city that offers a variety of restaurants and is home to Woodfield mall, the biggest mall in the state of Illinois. You can also find forest preserves for biking trails, and the city also offers public transportation (Pace buses) and Metra train on the south side of the city.

    1. Bloomington-Normal is a sprawling shopping center with a university attached to it. The main attraction is Illinois State University and primarily draws student's families to it. Has a lot of restaurants and hotels, some are very good (Indian restaurants, breakfast joints), some are terrible. (Just avoid the Chateau Hotel for example, you're better off.)

    Hotel easy to find close enough to the freeways but away from most of the traffic. It does seem that red lights are a suggestion a LOT of people that just think yellow means go faster? 3-4 cars at a time at most lights after it turns red, so be careful. Lots of different restaurants. Can due with out the flash floods and thunder storms. All in all had a good trip.

    A beautiful and distinctive old home, both inside and out that is expertly maintained and exceptionally clean. The large common area was good for visiting with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful. The plentiful breakfast was a help yourself with options for cold or items like frozen breakfast sandwiches that you could heat in the microwave. I loved the wide variety of breakfast items from which to choose. We parked in the 3-space parking area by the side of the house, but there was street parking available too. The Inn was full, but it was very quiet. The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful. For us, the only downside was having to walk up to the third floor to our whirlpool suite.

    We were stranded at the airport due to weather in Chicago so, we weren't able to enjoy Peoria. However, our two UBER drivers and the front desk clerk were very nice people if that's any indication of the Peoria Community.

    There is someone at the front desk 24/7. There may be no convenience store nearby but they do have water, soda and chips for sale for a reasonable price. There’s also a microwave in the lobby that you can use. The staff were nice too and told that I could have more coffee if I wanted.

    Breakfast was decent.

    Breakfast was decent. Towels and sheets were dirty, old and stained with blood which was very much a turn off for me. The front desk should have shown more concern. Instead I got a shoulder shrug and was simply told that's a housekeeping issue. For these reasons, I would not stay there again or recommend staying there.
