Exceptional food and staff. Perfect location for the shoebill tours - the lodge is lakefront and has its own boat for a guide to take you. Great room, amazing pool and birdlife at the lodge itself. We loved our stay - John (chef) and Joanne our amazing host went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time and were well fed with healthy and delicious food. Staff were always on hand helping us at our crazy arrival and departure times. We hope to come back again to stay at the lodge and see the beautiful shoebill once more.

A great and inventive place to stay. Very accommodating owner in every way. I had asked how to get to Mabira Forest and he got a car and took me there!
